  13. Ofoto provides a closed-loop device-to-device matching, whereas ColorSync
  14. provides device-independent matching.  This means that Ofoto will work as
  15. long as the scan is printed on the intended device.  ColorSync provides the
  16. best possible results no matter what the eventual device is.

  18. ColorSync is available only for the Macintosh, and there isn't a
  19. Windows version.
